From an outdoor workout in
your local park to exercise in your front room, we’ll introduce you to a
range of fun and challenging resistance training techniques that require no
gym-based machines or barbells. Using your own body weight and mobile
equipment such as handheld weights, resistance bands and medecine balls, we’ll give you a safe and effective
strength and endurance workout. Whether it’s endurance and strength for
fitness or simply for carrying and lifting shopping bags onto a kitchen
table, we can plan a programme of activity around your goals and enhance your
daily function. Your programme design is
key in ensuring your safety and progression. With a focus on compound
exercises which work your whole body and split routine programme designs,
we’ll ensure an adequate recovery period is factored into your schedule and
exercise nutrition is explained for essential growth and repair. Where appropriate, a
combination of strength and aerobic exercise in a PHA (peripheral heart
action) workout will be prescribed, offering the benefits of both resistance
and cardiovascular training in one single workout using free weights and
body-weight exercises. |
